Notes

At the age of about 10, Mark needed a hair cut while on holiday in Rhos-on-Sea. He specified a crew cut, to make him cool like all the other astronauts. Tony conveyed this to the barber as a beef cut (for unknown reasons, though his grocery shop did have a bacon slicer) and it stuck
