definition

melon pee, come right here, come to the cookhouse door boys song/verse fragment

Just a thing that gets sung occasionally

Origin

There’s a French song (see Notes) that the kids learned at school. The tune is a bit like British Army bugle call “Men’s meal (1ˢᵗ call)”. One parent – though both deny it – once elided the two, and it stuck

Collector

M & N – 1990s
Mark & Naomi
