pas de freinage violent inutile expression or saying

Drive carefully

Origin

From a sticker included with a set of replacement brake shoes for a Citroën Dyane

Collector

Notes

It’s literally French for “no unnecessary violent braking”, but inutile on its own means “useless” which lends it a certain dark humour
