Dormobile was a campervan conversion of the Bedford CA van, and later of other vans, starting in the 1950s. Whether the company subsequently converted vans manufactured by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has not been established.

Note: Dormobile does NOT rhyme with [La donna è] mobile, of which the final -e is its own syllable, of Verdi’s Rigoletto
