 We use the word "gloryhole". Can also apply to parts of the garden.

 @Clare: I am given to understand that this term has now been adopted for a peculiarly anonymous sexual practice. But your usage certainly resonates with me (and with the proprietor of an antiques/junk shop in the Lanes in Brighton)
